Quilting Book - by Matt Cotter
The book: The Quilters Ultimate Visual Guide: From A to Z-- Hundreds of Tips and Techniques for Successful Quiltmaking is a great book that has plenty of pictures to help show quilting techniques. I gave a copy to my aunt last year who was looking to keep busy after a leg injury and she was quilting in no time. My grand mother got it for me and I thought to myself, "I'm never going to look at this thing" Then one rainy day I flipped through it and now I have made over 4 quilts myself!! Its the best of a mystery adventure and romance. It goes between the 19th and 21st centuries and flows the whole time. The autor, Ms. Chiaverini is so skillful in her descriptions that the reader stays with the two leading ladies the whole book. Wether you are a quilter or not, the book is a blast from the past and reminds us to look back to our roots. This is a book every one will love!
